Wondering how to crop a gif without losing the motion or picking up a watermark? Give a width, height and starting point and the rest is cut away — the result is still a real, moving GIF. Free, no account, up to 400 MB.
Enter the width and height you want to keep, plus how far from the left and top it starts — exactly like cropping a photo, except every frame of the animation gets the same cut. Nothing is flattened to a single still.
The result is re-encoded with its own colour palette instead of a generic web palette, so flat colours and gradients keep their edges instead of turning into bands.
GIFs wider than about 1280 pixels after the crop come back scaled down to fit that width, proportions kept — measured directly against this tool, not assumed. Most GIFs people crop (memes, stickers, short clips) sit well under that, so this rarely shows up in practice.
