Every converter here is free, full size, no account.Photos convert in your browser and never leave it. Video and e-books do need our server — those we delete right after.

Turn an EPUB into a PDF with a fixed page layout — the same on every screen and printer, unlike a reflowing EPUB.

When PDF beats EPUB

EPUB reflows: the reader's app decides the font, size and page breaks, which is exactly what you want on a phone or e-reader. PDF freezes the page instead — every margin, image and line break stays exactly where the original put it. That matters for anything where the layout carries meaning: comics, textbooks with diagrams, sheet music, or a document you plan to print.

The trade-off

A PDF is fixed-size, so on a small phone screen you will be pinching and scrolling instead of the text reflowing to fit. If the book is mostly plain prose, keep it as EPUB (or convert it for a Kindle instead) and save PDF for things where the exact layout matters.

About your file

This is the second exception on this site, after the video compressor. A browser cannot rewrite an EPUB's internals into Kindle's MOBI format, so your file is uploaded to our server, converted there, and deleted right after — we keep no copy. Everything else here (HEIC, PNG, WEBP, JPG) still runs entirely in your browser.

Converted book leaves wide blank margins in the PDF? ScanReviver's crop PDF trims them off the whole file in one pass, no page-by-page editing.

Only need a couple of chapters, not the whole converted book? ScanReviver's delete pages removes the ones you don't want and keeps the rest in order.

Common questions

Why convert EPUB to PDF instead of just reading the EPUB?

Because PDF freezes the page exactly as designed, which matters for comics, textbooks with diagrams, or anything you plan to print. Plain-text books usually read better as EPUB or MOBI, which reflow to fit the screen.

Will the formatting stay exactly the same?

Very close. ebook-convert renders each page from the EPUB's own styling, so images, fonts and layout carry over; unusual custom CSS occasionally shifts slightly.

Is my file uploaded?

Yes — this is one of two tools here that does, along with the video compressor. A browser cannot rewrite an e-book's internal format, so the file goes to our server, converts, and is deleted right after.

Is it free?

Yes. No account, no watermark, no per-file charge.

Can I go the other way, PDF to EPUB?

Yes — pick EPUB as the target on the main e-book converter page. It works best on a PDF made from real text; a PDF that is a photo of each page has no text to extract.
