Every converter here is free, full size, no account. Photos convert in your browser and never leave it, except camera RAW files and SVG tracing. Those, like video, audio and e-books, need our server, and we delete them right after.

Converting a photo, HEIC, HEIF, PNG, WEBP, JPG, BMP or GIF, is free and unlimited. It runs right in your browser, so there is nothing to meter: no account, no watermark, no daily cap, and it is not a trial. Video compression, camera RAW conversion, e-book conversion and image-to-SVG tracing are the exception: those run on our own server, so they carry free limits. Two optional passes raise those limits: €5 for 30 days or €3 for 24 hours. That is the whole price list.

- Photo conversion is unlimited: HEIC/HEIF, PNG, WEBP, JPG, BMP and GIF to JPG, PNG or WEBP, as many as you like, full resolution, right in your browser
- Video tools (compress, trim, rotate, mute, volume, merge, add music, format conversion, GIF, thumbnail): files up to 1200 MB, up to 20 minutes long
- Camera RAW to JPG/PNG/WEBP (CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, DNG, RAF, ORF and more): files up to 200 MB
- E-book conversion (EPUB, MOBI, AZW3, PDF, TXT): files up to 100 MB
- Video to GIF: up to 30 seconds
- Image to SVG (vector trace): three files a day, full quality, no watermark
- No account and no e-mail address needed anywhere on the site
The passes: €5 for 30 days, €3 for 24 hours
One-off payment. No subscription, nothing renews, nothing is charged again. It raises limits on the tools that run on our server: it does not touch photo conversion, which is already unlimited. With a pass:
- Video: up to 6 GB and 2 hours, instead of 1200 MB / 20 minutes
- Camera RAW: up to 500 MB instead of 200 MB
- E-books: up to 300 MB instead of 100 MB
- Video to GIF: up to 2 minutes instead of 30 seconds
- Image to SVG: 50 traces a day instead of 3
- Priority in the queue when the machine is busy
Three things worth knowing before you buy:
- The clock starts at your first file, not at payment. Buy it tonight and start next week; the clock only begins when you actually process something. An unused pass stays claimable for 90 days.
- One pass works on all our tools. The same pass also raises the limits on StemGrab, ScanReviver and the other ShinobiTools sites. See shinobitools.com.
- It does not change the output quality. Free and paid produce the same result on every tool: the pass only lifts the size and length ceilings. Try the free tier first; that is the point of it being free.
Payment and receipts
Payment is processed by Stripe. The seller is ShinobiTools: we account for the VAT, and you get a confirmation by e-mail after payment. We never see or store your card details. Prices include any VAT that applies to your country.
A pass is stored in the browser you bought it in: there are no accounts here, so it will not show up on another device or in a private window.
Refunds
Unhappy? Mail us and you get your money back. The details are in our Refund Policy; the full conditions are in the Terms of Use.
Questions
Is ConvertNinja really free?
Yes. Converting HEIC, HEIF, PNG, WEBP, JPG, BMP or GIF photos runs entirely in your browser, is unlimited and costs nothing, with no account and no watermark. Video compression, camera RAW, e-book conversion and image-to-SVG tracing use our server and have free limits too, which an optional pass raises.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
For HEIC, HEIF, PNG, WEBP, JPG, BMP and GIF conversion, no: that happens on your own device and the file never leaves it. Video, audio, camera RAW, e-book and SVG tools are the exception: those go to our server to be processed and are deleted right after.
Do I need an account?
No, on either the free tool or the pass. There is no sign-up anywhere on ConvertNinja.
What does the €5 or €3 pass actually change?
It raises limits, not quality: larger video files (up to 6 GB instead of 1200 MB) and longer ones (2 hours instead of 20 minutes), bigger camera RAW and e-book files, longer GIFs, more SVG traces a day, and priority when the machine is busy. The free tier already gets the same output quality.
Is the pass a subscription?
No. It is a one-off payment for either 30 days or 24 hours. Nothing renews and nothing is charged again, and the same pass also works on our other ShinobiTools sites.
What happens to files that go through your server?
Video, camera RAW, e-book and SVG files are deleted right after processing: nothing is kept, on either the free tier or the pass.
What does the EUR 5 or EUR 3 pass actually change?
