Most bulk converters cap what you can do at once — ten files, twenty a day, or a queue that wants an account first. That limit exists because someone is paying a server to process every file. Nothing here runs on a server: your own browser re-encodes each image, so there is no per-file cost to ration and no queue to join.
What that means in practice: convert a dozen product photos before lunch, or work through several hundred images from an old gallery in one sitting — your browser will keep going steadily, with each finished file appearing in the list as it is done. For anything past a couple hundred, doing it in batches of roughly fifty keeps the tab responsive and lets you start saving before the whole set is through.
HEIC, JPG and PNG all convert to WebP here, and you can mix formats freely in the same batch — a folder with some phone photos and some PNGs from a design tool comes out the other end as a single, consistent set of WebP files, each keeping its original name.

WebP is built for the web, not for handing to someone else: every current browser displays it natively, and at matching visual quality it typically lands meaningfully smaller than the JPG or PNG it started as. That is exactly why it is worth converting a whole folder before it goes anywhere near a website, rather than one image at a time as you need it — a product catalogue, a photo gallery, a batch of blog images.
The trade-off runs the opposite way from HEIC: WebP is the format a browser wants, not the format a client, a printer or most desktop photo viewers expect. Keep JPG or PNG copies of anything that is leaving the browser — an email attachment, a print order, a file headed into someone else's software — and reserve the WebP batch for what actually ends up on a page.
There is no ZIP file at the end of this, on purpose. Each image gets its own download link as it finishes, and once two or more are ready a Save all button appears that fires the downloads off one after another rather than zipping them. The first time, your browser asks permission to save multiple files at once — allow it, and the rest land in your Downloads folder.
Because this page accepts HEIC, JPG and PNG in the same batch, the useful bit is what happens to the names: whatever the source extension was, every result comes out as the same filename with .webp on the end, so a mixed folder does not come back as a mixed mess — it comes back as one consistent set.

Converting is not lossless — HEIC and JPG both throw away detail, so you are re-encoding once. The JPGs come out at quality 0.92, which is high enough that you would struggle to see the difference on a photo, and the file usually lands somewhere between the same size and twice the size of the HEIC.
