Filmed sideways, or a clip that arrives upside down on someone else's computer. Pick the turn you need — 90° either way or a full 180° — and download it fixed. The turn is baked in, so it stays right wherever you play it.
Phones film in one orientation and write a note in the file saying "show this turned". Some players read that note, plenty do not — which is why the same clip looks fine on your phone and sideways once it is uploaded somewhere. This tool actually turns the pictures instead of leaving a note, so every player agrees.
If the top of your video is currently on the right, you need 90° anticlockwise. If the top is on the left, 90° clockwise. Upside down is 180°. Guessed wrong? Run the result through again — nothing is lost.
This tool is one of the exceptions on this site. The image converters here run entirely inside your browser and never send anything to us. Turning the actual pictures means re-encoding, which a browser cannot do, so your file is uploaded to our own machine, rotated there, and deleted immediately afterwards — we keep no copy.
