Convert HEIC to JPG, PNG or WEBP

Every converter here is free, full size, no account. Photos convert in your browser and never leave it. Video and e-books do need our server — those we delete right after.

Turn iPhone HEIC photos, PNGs and WEBPs into the format you actually need — as many at once as you like.

📷 Camera RAW (CR2, NEF, ARW, DNG…) also goes to our server — no browser can open those — and is deleted the moment your image is ready.

    How to convert an image

    Drop your images

Select or drag any number of HEIC, HEIF, PNG, WEBP, JPG, BMP or GIF files straight from your phone or computer.

    Pick your output

Choose JPG, PNG or WEBP. Each image is decoded and re-saved right in your browser: no waiting for an upload or a queue.

    Set the quality

Slide the quality control to balance file size against detail. The default of 90% suits most photos.

    Download the results

Save each file on its own, or grab the whole batch with one click. Nothing was ever sent to a server.

11 seconds, nothing cut: an iPhone HEIC goes in and a JPG comes out — converted in the browser, nothing uploaded.

    What we're seeing on ConvertNinja

Over the 43 days from 18 July to 29 August 2026, this site logged 3,114 page loads. After filtering out bots and crawlers, 130 of those were real visits from people, arriving from 21 different countries. The largest group came from the United States (23), followed by China (20) and the Netherlands (7); the rest were spread in smaller numbers across places like Iran, France, Japan, Morocco and Romania.

That spread is fairly typical for a browser-based converter: there is nothing to install and nothing to sign up for, so it travels wherever a link or a search result lands, not just to the markets you would expect.

It is a small, early sample — 130 people over six weeks is not a base for grand claims, and we are not going to dress it up as one. We are publishing the real number because most converter sites do not publish anything at all; you are simply expected to trust an unverifiable "millions of users" line. We would rather show fewer, real ones.

    Questions about converting images

Do my photos get uploaded to a server?

No — with one exception. JPG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC, BMP and GIF are converted entirely inside your browser with JavaScript: those photos never leave your device, so there is nothing to upload, store or delete on our side. Camera RAW files (CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, DNG, RAF, ORF and so on) are different: no browser can decode them, so those — and only those — are sent to our server, converted there, and deleted straight after. You will always see it, because a RAW file is the only one that shows an upload.

    Which formats can I convert?

HEIC and HEIF from an iPhone, plus PNG, WEBP, JPG, BMP and GIF. You can save the result as JPG, PNG or WEBP. So PNG to JPG, WEBP to JPG, JPG to PNG and PNG to WEBP all work, in the same place.

Which output format should I pick?

JPG for photos you want to share or upload anywhere: smallest file, works everywhere, but no transparency. PNG when you need a transparent background or pixel-perfect graphics and text. WEBP when you want the smallest file for a website; every current browser supports it.

Why won't my HEIC files open elsewhere?

HEIC is the high-efficiency format iPhones use to save space. It is not supported everywhere, so Windows apps, older software, and many websites reject it. Converting to JPG makes the photo open anywhere.

Will I lose quality converting to JPG?

JPG is lossy, so there is some compression, but at 90% quality the difference is hard to see. You can raise the quality slider toward 100% for the closest match, at the cost of a larger file.

Can I convert many photos at once?

Yes. Drop in a whole batch and each one is converted separately. Download them one by one, or use "Download all".

Does it work on my phone?

Yes, it runs in any modern mobile or desktop browser. On an iPhone you can convert the HEIC photos straight from your camera roll.

A file failed to convert. Why?

Some unusual HEIC variants, or files that are actually a different format with a .heic name, can fail to decode in the browser. The file is marked with an error and the rest of your batch still converts normally.

Do I need an account to convert your images here?

No — drop a file on this page to convert your images: no sign-up, no watermark, and most formats never leave your browser.

How do I convert an image to JPG, PNG or WEBP?

Drop your images onto the page, pick JPG, PNG or WEBP as the output, and they are converted right in your browser. Then download each one or all at once.

    Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Conversion happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your photos never leave your device and nothing is sent to a server.

    Is it free?

Yes, completely free with no sign-up and no watermark. Convert as many photos as you like.

    What is a HEIC file?

HEIC is the high-efficiency image format iPhones use by default. It saves space but many apps and websites cannot open it, so converting to JPG makes photos universally compatible.
